We study the integration of artificial intelligence and database systems: AI for databases (AI4DB) and databases for AI applications (DB4AI). Our goal is to build intelligent, efficient, and autonomous systems and provide high-performance data infrastructure for large models, knowledge augmentation, and intelligent decision-making.
Research Areas and Projects
Chinese genealogies record population migration, family evolution, social relationships, and cultural history. We combine database systems, knowledge graphs, AI, and digital humanities to support digitization, collaborative editing, knowledge organization, intelligent annotation, and knowledge services. Our platform spans collection, management, analysis, and services to preserve genealogical heritage and enable knowledge discovery.
Digital Watermarking
CompletedOur research addresses copyright protection and data security through watermarking for databases, geographic and spatial data, and text. We study embedding and extraction algorithms, robustness, watermarking protocols, and copyright protection mechanisms. Supported by NSFC and the National 863 Program, this work has contributed to database copyright protection, geographic information security, and trustworthy data sharing, and received awards from the Ministry of Education and Wuhan Municipal Government.
